As a general rule, I keep your entire photo shoot on my hard drive for 2 months. After that, it is guaranteed to remain on my online backup storage for another month. That means I have your photos for three months.
Truth be told, my online backup never deleted them like it was supposed to. That meant I could system restore your files any time. But no longer.
As of June, my online backup provider (cough *lame Mozy* cough) will be hiking my price over 200%. I have already found another provider and will begin using them in May to be sure your images are always protected.
HOWEVER, at that time I will no longer have access to those files I had deleted off my computer and exist only on my backup storage.
Please make multiple copies of your pictures and CD because as of June I will no longer be able to make you a new one.
Also, if you had been thinking about making enlargements and didn't have me crop those on your CD, I will also need to know that now so I can get you a larger crop.
